Our questionnaire is designed to highlight the importance for all employers of having up-to-date equal opportunities policies and procedures in place. This is regardless of the size of organisation or the types of workers employed. Recent changes in legislation have introduced employment equality provisions on the grounds of religion and belief and also on the grounds of sexual orientation. From October 2006 there will be new legal requirements in relation to age discrimination. All employers are therefore encouraged to review their policies to ensure that they have taken preventative steps against possible claims.
