Specialist Planning Lawyer, Roger Curtis, joins Cumberland Ellis Property Team
We are pleased to announce that specialist planning lawyer Roger Curtis has joined Cumberland Ellis as a partner in our Property Department, bringing expertise in planning, environmental and construction law to the firm.
Michael Sinha, Head of Cumberland Ellis' Property Group, commented: 'I am very pleased by this new addition, as Roger will bring expertise in practice areas which are totally new to Cumberland Ellis and will provide added strength and depth to our property team'.
Roger has extensive experience of town and country planning, and is a member of the Law Society Planning Accreditation Scheme. He also has expertise on matters relating to compulsory purchase orders, having dealt with cases in the Lands Tribunal, including recently relating to the Channel Tunnel, the Croydon Tramlink and the new Arsenal Football Stadium.
Having spent a number of years in local government, Roger also advises on areas of local government law, environmental issues and construction disputes, and is a member of the Environmental Law Foundation. Roger is also a Mediator, having trained with the ADR Group, and has sat as a mediator in many commercial disputes.
